Chennai: A fast track court on Friday will deliver its judgment in the case relating to the shooting down of a 13-year-old boy here in July last year, allegedly by a retired Army officer.
On April 11, Judge Radha after hearing arguments by the prosecution and defence had fixed today’s date for the judgment.
Dilshan, the victim, was allegedly shot dead by retired Army officer Lt Col Ramraj on July 3 after he trespassed into the Army officers' residence in Flag Staff Road here to pluck some fruit.
Ramraj was arrested on July 10. The charge-sheet was filed in August and nearly 70 persons had been cited as witnesses.
